We expect that our participation in IDPF Digital Book 2012 will result in news ideas and will create a perfect context for establishing new business connections and facilitating partnership with our existing clients.
Active Textbook was recently featured at the CUEBC and Catalyst For Science conferences. Our team demonstrated the Active Textbook platform for teachers and school district representatives. There is a strong need for technologies that enable teachers to design and distribute digital courseware. Active Textbook attracted a lot of attention for that reason! Education professionals appreciated how Active Textbook is easy to use and has powerful authoring and publishing functionality. New contacts established during CUEBC and Catalyst will allow us to bring Active Textbook to new schools and school districts.
The Active Textbook team will be exibiting the latest version of our software at Catalyst For Science on October 21st and 22nd. Active Textbook is proud to participate and to be a part of Catalyst For Science directive to gather information on teacher reviewed and classroom tested science-based resources.
Active Textbook is about to have a new user interface which looks sleek and modern. Its elegant simplicity will make it easier for users to enhance their digital documents with interactive content. You can look forward to seeing our brand-new appearance in the near future.
Active Textbook was introduced to students taking a course on educational technology at UBC (Department of Curriculum & Pedagogy). After a short presentation, students were encouraged to create their own digital curriculum materials with Active Textbook. During a follow up survey more than 60 percent of all participants indicated that they are “Very likely†to use Active Textbook in their work as teachers.
Active Textbook team is happy to announce that a new version of our Active Textbook Platform is released and is now available to all our partners. This new release incorporates some of the improvements that we developed in cooperation with educators and educational technology experts who collaborated with us in a series of pilot projects. We are very grateful for the feedback that we received and hope to develop Active Textbook even further together with all our partners.
If you currently have an older version of Active Textbook installed on your computer, the program will automatically detect a release of a new version and prompt an update. We will provide an individual download link to a new version to all registered users via email. All materials prepared with any older version of Active Textbook are fully compatible with the latest version.
Active Textbook was successfully presented at CommunicAsia 2011. Representatives from leading educational institutions and government agencies such as Info-communications Development Authority of Singapore, Asia Pacific College, University of Wollongong, The Principals Academy (PAI) were interested in acquiring and implementing the product. We hope to establish successful cooperation with these and other partners in Asia and around the world!
NAFSA was an exciting event full of educators and students from all around the world. Active Textbook was a unique presence bringing software for educators and got to connect with many educators and representatives from educational institutions from various parts of the world.
